Here are some basic steps to open a YouTube account and to proceed and upload a video
1) Go to the main page of YouTube and click on the “sign up” button to create your account.
2)Fill in all necessary information on the side of the screen that says “create you YouTube account”
3)Click “sign up” button at bottom of form when all boxes are filled out.
You now have a YouTube account! Don’t forget to write down your username and password in a safe place. I can never remember all my different loggins!
4) To upload a video, first login into YouTube
5) Proceed to click on yellow “upload” button
6) Under “Video Upload”, fill in all necessary boxes – make sure you leave the broadcast options open!
7) After information complete, click on “upload”
8) Click “browse” and find your file – an easy to remember place is always good, for me the desktop works well
8) Click “upload” again once video file is found – the video will take many minutes to upload
9) Once it is displayed that upload is complete your video is posted!
10) An embed code will also appear to give you the option to share your YouTube video on other blog/ community or what have you sites!
